The APA is a nonprofit organization with a growing membership of both signature and associate members. Their focus is to educate the public through traditional and representational art works about the American Plains region including the landscape, wildlife, peoples and way of life in historical or modern times.

West Texas Watercolor Society
This is a group of delightful watercolorists that extends membership to all persons interested in promoting the art of watercolor in West Texas. WTWS organizes various exhibitions, competitions, demonstrations and workshops in Lubbock, TX.

Haley Memorial Library and History Center
The Haley is a professionally organized facility for research into the history of the Southwest through books, maps, artifacts and western art. It also houses the Texas Confederate Museum Collection.
